Windows Installer Basics: Return Codes and Error Codes or Text

There are two types of error codes used my Windows Installer and sometimes it is not obvious which type you may have received (so look at both types):

1. MSIEXEC.EXE Return Codes
2. Error Codes and Text (in message boxes or verbose logs)

You will probably also wish to have a lok at the "Installation Problems" section.
