The "ComPlusProperty" Command |
This command sets either:
The attributes are documented, see "Applications Collection" in the Platform SDK: COM+ (for Component Services) Note that the documented constants are available for use.

This command logs the setting of the properties and so helps pinpoint any problems if runtime errors occur.
The command takes these parameters:
This parameter should be supplied as a VBSCRIPT expression (not as literal text), so double quoted text would be valid as would the result of a call to the VbsCaCadGet routine.
If the first character of the value is a double quote then this value can also reference any property specified in the "PROPERTIES" parameter of the "ComPlusApp" command. The "VbsCaCadReplace" routine is used for this and the default start marker is "(*" and end marker is "*)" (for example "(*INSTALLDIR*)").
EXAMPLE |
This example shows an application being created. MAKEMSI is choosing the ID (a guid) and it will use the same one for any subsequent build. Both Application and component properties are being set.
