Free open source Java editor. Very impressive with lots of powerful features such as unlimited undo. Some impressive plugins (macros or extensions) have been written for it. If you wish to learn java, why not do something useful and write (or improve since the source is available) some java plugins for this editor? Not only will you improve your Java skills but you will improve your editor at the same time! |

There is a freeware "light" version as well as a shareware version (quite cheap). It supports multiple buffers and is in general quite good. |

Metapad is a small, fast (and completely free) text editor for Windows 9x and Windows NT with similar features to Microsoft Notepad but with many extra (and rather useful) features. It was designed to completely replace Notepad since it includes all of Notepad's features and much, much more.

A complete listing of all URLS is available if you are having trouble locating a URL.
If you have some completely free software (no adware and without timeouts or major restrictions) which you would like listed then please email me:
This page was automatically created from Windows internet shortcuts (or favorites) created with IE or Netscape (OS/2 WPS URLs can also be imported). You can comment any link or category and just about anything can be changed (links don't even need to be in tables). PPWIZARD, a free tool for Windows, Mac OS X, Unix or OS/2 built these pages using this source code .
All URLs are checked periodically using the my free URL validation tool (for Windows and OS/2). This ensures that very few if any links point to moved pages or return 404 errors etc.
