i.Disk scans directory trees and displays the total space used by each directory in an easy to use form. You can drill down into the directorys to understand the layout of space. And when you want to clean up your disk there are same handy tools there to help. The directory called '.' is the space used by files in the base directory you are scanning from. |

Scanner uses a unique concentric pie chart to display the usage of your hard disk or other media. The chart shows all major files and folders from all directory levels at once. It doesn't need installation to work! |

SpaceMonger is a tool for keeping track of the free space on your computer. Each file or folder on a given drive is displayed in a box in the main window whose size is a relative comparison to all the other files in your system. So, for example, if the "Windows" box takes up 90% of the screen, the "C:\Windows" folder and all its sub-folders and files are taking up 90% of your "C:" drive. Version 1.4.0 is freeware, newer versions are not. I like this tool...

TreeSize Free V2.2.1 - Windows Freeware |

Every hard disk is too small if you just wait long enough. TreeSize Free tells you where precious space has gone to. TreeSize Free can be started from the context menu of a folder or drive and shows you the size of this folder, including its subfolders. You can expand this folder in Explorer-like style and you will see the size of every subfolder. Scanning is done in a thread, so you can already see results while TreeSize Free is working. The space, which is wasted by the file system, can be displayed and the results can be printed in a report. TreeSize Free is freeware for Windows 2000/XP/Vista. Users of Windows 9x/ME can download last compatible version TreeSize Free V2.1. It doesn't need installation to work! |

Multiplatform tool (java application) which can show directory utilization and free space etc. Very nice display and detailed reports. I generally use this program, its pie charts are good.

A complete listing of all URLS is available if you are having trouble locating a URL.
If you have some completely free software (no adware and without timeouts or major restrictions) which you would like listed then please email me:
This page was automatically created from Windows internet shortcuts (or favorites) created with IE or Netscape (OS/2 WPS URLs can also be imported). You can comment any link or category and just about anything can be changed (links don't even need to be in tables). PPWIZARD, a free tool for Windows, Mac OS X, Unix or OS/2 built these pages using this source code .
All URLs are checked periodically using the my free URL validation tool (for Windows and OS/2). This ensures that very few if any links point to moved pages or return 404 errors etc.
