Adding events to the Application Event Log is as simple as ABC with ABCEventLog. The only component to support multiple event types, event sources and both local and remote event logging. That's right - log events on your database server from your web server! ABCEventLog is a free product. The only condition of use is that - if you use it as a free product - you link back to our web site. The link can be on any web site you control - it doesn't have to be on the site you're developing. Dennis - This is exactly what I was after (sources autocreated etc), very good except for one issue, it strips out carriage returns and line feeds, however as the source was provided I could fix this! They have other products on their site, most you pay for but some free. |
AspEventlog 2.0 Component |

The component's interface is intended to be simple, but powerful if you want to have events reported to the Application eventlog of the local server (works with a standard installation, aka server runs under IUSR_machinename account). All four different event types (success, error, warning and information) can be logged, together with a single string of information (you are free to include anything in this string, like IP, user agent, etc). Looks good, can specify/create event "sources", however these must be created in script (not autocreated). |

A complete listing of all URLS is available if you are having trouble locating a URL.
If you have some completely free software (no adware and without timeouts or major restrictions) which you would like listed then please email me:
This page was automatically created from Windows internet shortcuts (or favorites) created with IE or Netscape (OS/2 WPS URLs can also be imported). You can comment any link or category and just about anything can be changed (links don't even need to be in tables). PPWIZARD, a free tool for Windows, Mac OS X, Unix or OS/2 built these pages using this source code .
All URLs are checked periodically using the my free URL validation tool (for Windows and OS/2). This ensures that very few if any links point to moved pages or return 404 errors etc.
